(Anchorage, Alaska)-Chugach Government Solutions, LLC, (CGS) welcomes Kevin Worrell as Safety Director. In this role, Worrell will provide executive leadership, strategy, and manage CGS’ award-winning Safety program. He brings more than 15 years of experience of assessing potential hazards and controls, evaluating risks, investigating incidents, and maintaining and evaluating incident records.
Worrell began his career in Alaska’s North Slope oil fields. He managed behavior-based safety programs to increase awareness and reduce incidents. He applied his strength in communicating complex safety information and progressed through field advisor positions. Most recently, through consulting, Worrell gathered experience in industrial hygiene, eLearning development and accident investigation. With a background as a musician and performer, his fascination with culture and human performance led him to a specialization in leadership development as a Certified Franklin Covey Facilitator, and a sought-after public speaker.

Worrell is a licensed Certified Safety Professional and earned a bachelor’s degree from New School University in New York City, New York. He is active in the Anchorage, Alaska arts community as a producer and performer. He and his family can be found outdoors regardless of Alaska’s weather.
