Michael Iacobucci appointed SVP, Chief Growth Officer

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC (CGS) is pleased to welcome Michael Iacobucci in the role of SVP, Chief Growth Officer (CGO). Iacobucci will be responsible for driving strategic growth leading efforts to identify, develop, and execute strategies to expand market share, increase revenue, and enhance competitive positioning.

Iacobucci brings more than 15 years of experience in government contracting in progressively increasing leadership roles focused on organizational growth, business development and strategy. Prior to his industry experience, he enjoyed a 22-year career with the U.S. Army serving operationally in Airborne and Special Operations organization with service throughout the continental US, Europe, SW Asia, South Pacific, and Africa.

Most recently, Iacobucci served as the President for Profense, an aviation and defense company. Additionally, previous experience includes serving as Business Development Senior Director for General Dynamics Ordinance and Tactical Systems, and SOCOM Account Manager for General Dynamics C4 Systems.

Iacobucci shared, “It’s an honor to be selected to help drive growth in service of our customer’s missions and support of our Chugach shareholders.” He continued, “I’m excited to hit the ground running with the dynamic CGS team and our valued partners. It’s clear to me that the runway of opportunity for CGS to provide meaningful value to our government customer is long.”

Iacobucci holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Master of Arts in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Additionally, he’s completed Infantry Basic, Advanced Courses, Airborne and Ranger Schools, Command and General Staff College Defense System Acquisition Management.

Iacobucci volunteers his time as an Ambassador for The COMMIT Foundation and is a mentor supporting 4 Ranger Foundation.
