(Anchorage, Alaska)-Chugach Government Solutions, LLC, (CGS) welcomes Mark Miller as President of Chugach Information Technology, Incorporated (CITI). In this role, Miller will lead the operating activities of the company and develop marketing strategies to grow CITI from a small business to a full and open large business. The Technical Service business line growth stems from CITI’s sustained excellence that its customers rely on and expect in the worldwide deployment of critical systems and technology.
Miller joined Chugach in 2004 as a Program Manager and developed the framework for the start-up of information technology operations in the Chesapeake area. In 2010, Miller became a CGS Business Development Director. He lent his experience with U.S. Navy fleet requirements, research and development protocols, and system architecture to develop over 100 proposals and grow CGS’ Technical Services business line. Miller was then selected to lead all of CGS’ capture management and marketing for our four business lines.
“Mark’s growth within CGS provides him with the foundation to create and execute a vision for CITI. His knowledge of Federal business contracting and his relationships among internal and external stakeholders spell success for CITI,” said CGS President Tim “Hoops” Hopper. “Mark’s shipboard systems experience, from performance requirements to production, enables him to create meaningful value for our customers. Combined with his extensive industry connections and marketing experience, I am excited to see Mark and CITI exceed CGS’ Strategic Goals as we grow.”
Miller earned his Master of Science in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and is active in the Hampton Roads area. Miller and his wife have two daughters, one son, two granddaughters, three grandsons, and a 6th grandchild on the way.
